What is a custom family tree?
A layered paper sculpture designed and built by hand, showcasing your family in a bespoke piece of original artwork. Each piece is unique, framed in a shadow box, and meant to become an heirloom.
How much does a family tree cost?
Nest Family Trees are $115+tax, but cannot accomodate more than nine (9) names.
Starting at $600, exact price for Heriloom and Custom Family Trees depend on size and complexity. You'll be provided with an all-in price quote before any work begins or monies are due.
All prices include the shadow box frame. Prices subject to change.

What if there's a mistake in my tree?
Nobody's perfect! If you discover an error in your tree after delivery, just send me an email at jonathan@jsartanddesign.com with the details and I'll send you a revised tree, no charge!*
How does it work and how do I get started?
Step 1: DESIGN
Once you approve your personalized quote and place a 50% deposit, I’ll send you a simple, shareable form to gather your family information. You can fill it out yourself or pass it along to relatives for help.
Step 2: BUILD
Using your family information and approved direction, I’ll design and create a one-of-one family tree tailored to your story. Custom trees typically take 2–4 weeks to complete, frame, and ship FREE.
Step 3: PROOF
You’ll receive a digital proof showing names, dates, fonts, layout, and embellishments. Once you approve, I’ll begin cutting and assembling your tree.
Step 4: DELIVERY
Your tree will come boxed and ready to gift, hang or place upon arrival. This family keepsake will bring years of joy and reflection, as well as acting as a one-of-a-kind work of art... just like the family it captures.
